This project involved the design, fabrication, and installation of a custom elevated steel platform on a commercial building rooftop. The structure was engineered to support significant mechanical loads for essential building systems such as HVAC equipment, cooling towers, or industrial machinery. Key features included a robust framework of wide-flange steel beams with complex internal bracing, industrial steel grating decks for access and drainage, and full perimeter safety systems with guardrails. The structure was fabricated in modular sections with precision welding and protective galvanization before being transported and assembled on-site using specialized rigging equipment.

This project involved the design and construction of an innovative bikestation, a modern sustainable structure created to promote urban mobility and green transportation. The facility features a sleek, arched canopy roof composed of glass-integrated photovoltaic (PV) panels, serving the dual purpose of providing shelter for bicycles and generating renewable energy. The project’s evolution included advanced computational design to manage the complex geometry of the curved steel framework, precise fabrication and erection of the structural system, and the careful installation of custom glass-PV panels. Key accomplishments include the integration of Building-Integrated Photovoltaics (BIPV) for on-site energy generation and the use of advanced engineering techniques to realize the architecturally distinctive, non-linear form.
